About Global Insider Consulting
Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Singapore, Global Insider Consulting was created against the backdrop of the COVID-19, the pandemic and the economic disruption it caused that threatened development gains over the next few decades, throwing the progress of sustainable development goals off track in both developed Western countries and developing Southeast Asia. With a focus on strategic economics, international affairs, security issues, and policy analysis, GIC aims to provide a broad perspective on the geostrategic and development issues currently facing Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region in an era of uncertainty.
Our research geography is centered on Singapore, radiating to the East and Southeast Asian countries, the Pacific Island nations, and the Asia-Pacific region, including the United States and Australia, which border the Pacific Ocean. Our research agenda focuses on the military, political, economic, and development spheres, and is dedicated to presenting the latest discussions in Chinese and English on the evolving foreign policies of Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region as they adapt to new geopolitical realities.
Combined with a large network of affiliated scholars, our team relies on a diverse group of government officials, academic experts, researchers, and staff to provide rigorous analysis of major issues affecting Singapore, the Asia-Pacific region, and the global political system, and aims to be an indispensable resource for international affairs in a complex world.
